1/4 mile

E36 BMW 325I 1994
I recently changed my cars engine from a 325 to 328, i made 121kw and 221nm on the wheels with the 325. Now i make 144kw and 249nm on the wheels.
My 1/4 mile on the 325 was 15.9
My 1/4 mile on the 328 is 15.2 today at smile raceway in Bronkhorstspruit.

There were an E46 M3 which only did 14.8 i am only 0.3 sec behind not bad considering the big difference between the two.

I am fairly happy seeing that I haven't opened the motor yet. Just chip and exhaust.

SMILE is an unprepared up hill airfield! the PTA north 10s cars runs 12s there! awesome awesome! made some big shit yesterday with the other M's there! whao.. will do some mid 14s runs at ODI soon! :thumbsup:

not a csl it was a stock E46 M3.. and yes 14.8.. 2 other E36 M3 3.2's ran 15.3 and 15.4..
you can even ask KOBUS325i on this forum he ran a 15.4 with his RGM stage 1 3.2 M3 on that track and springboks modded 3.2 ran a 15.1..

Thats a lot for a 328.

My 540i has only 165kw on the wheels.
I'm taking my car for exhaust and chip within the next 6 months.

No bud not sleeping that is what E46's does on that track! are you going to come race there on the next event? would be interesing to see what a 13.8s Tarlton car does on smile!

That must be the worst track in the history of tracks. Is it a 30 degree uphill covered in ice ?

Even at Wesbank raceway (which had KAK traction) E46 M3's would do 14.1 14.2, and E36's would be doing 14.5's etc.

Smile is way slower track than Westbank was.. i was 0.4 faster on Westbank with my golf than on Smile! The times you ran on tarlton i run on Smile with my E36 M3.. so its not that a slow track! its not that far from JHB so come have a couple of runs on smile!
