'06 320d M Sport M47N2 info required

Howzat Fello Fanatics,

I am new to the forum & must say keep up the excellent advice.

I recently purchased the above due to a new addition to the family.Must say it is a perfect family vehicle & even for an individual.Car is still in motorplan @ 114000kms.Unfortunately,MP will expire soon & cannot extend.Would like to know about preventative measures that need to be considered for many more kilometers to come after MP expiration.

If you could also recommend an Independent BMW techie to maintain my ride.I'm in the Centurion area.Really appreciate all comments & assistance.

Mine is on 220 000km now and the biggest problem i had was the vibration damper pulley that i had to change about 4 times .....

other than that it just needs its services on time... i have a excellent guy that does my car but he is near Gold reef city which is a bit far for you....

Thanks rash777,vibration damper???Whats the name of your guy.Is he RMI registered?Would probably have to give him a call if I don't get a good techie this side...let me know...what are the regular service costs like...

Its the main engine pulley.... :rollsmile:

im sure he is.... his name is Logasen and his place is called Technospec 0118353350 or cell 0834495401

normal oil service are about 2k the most depending on the oil you use... overall not expensive to maintain....

Yes they do though I think with the addition of thicker shafts it reduced the failures

I just got my car serviced by Racing Snake( Level 7 Motorsport), he's based in springs. Very honest guy and knows his stuff.
He been maintains both my E30 and 2006 e90 320d. :thumbs:
