Finally Found My Perfect M2 (Well, Almost)

Chiming in again - I recall a while ago building my 'perfect M2' in my head, I'm talking years ago, and that perfect M2 just so happened to have the style 666M on it. I think these wheels look absolutely amazing on this car, are easy easier to find, show plenty of brake setup and most importantly, are OEM. What do you think?

Not too sure how deep your pockets are but…

`From what I recall, slightly different size. Meaning the 1M wheels could require spacers at the rear to match M2 CS stance or avoid rubbing, depending on tire choice.

I meant why does it spook you?

I think i just lean towards the way the OEM designed it. Also the M1 wheels are the slightest bit narrower so less grip đŸ˜…

I responded in your other thread when you were looking for wheels but don't think you understood .

The style 359m Front Wheels are only 2mm narrower than your style 437m wheels in the front and they are both 9j wide so fitment variance would be almost negligble.
The style 359m Rear wheels are 15mm wider then the 437m wheels, so not sure how or where "spacers" come into your thought process as they would actually stick further out

Ah, thanks for the info. I went to chat to the parts guy in Midrand BMW and he seemed to think it needed a spacer to fit properly. But ye noted.

If you wanted to get a flush look in the front you have the option of running a front spacer +-10 to 12mm in the front ( but you are opposed to fitting spacers so maybe don't go down that route...

The rear of the 359m wheels will actually "poke" out meaning that it will sit closer to the fender, meaning it's wider without the need for fitting an aftermarket spacer and getting that wide and aggressive look.

If this is something you're really interested in, just Google some Tyre and width calculators. Some of them are so detailed that they overlay the two different mag styles onto a visual and show you how width, offset and even different Tyre brands will fit onto your car
