My first BMW E82 135i

So the years racing has concluded for us, And I made the decision to not enter next year so I can try preparing the car better. It badly needs upgrades on the bushes and suspension arms.

Also still struggling with this actuator im using so I think it's time to go back to ecu control N75 instead of a boost controller.

Then I see Apex makes a nice wide track focused wheel for the E82 which should allow 255 square setup on the semi slicks.

On other news.

I managed to clench 2nd place in the Modified RWD class. Top contender was a Supra that was just way too fast for any of us.

Third was a close 2 points behind in a Mustang 5.0 who really improved alot throughout the year.

Managed to find a set of M3 lower control arms on the forum. Just need the second set of arms now.

I think the amount of negative camber should be near -4 degrees almost.

Next big project will probably end up being pulling the rear subframe and doing solid mounts with M3 anti roll bars if I can find a set.

So it's been some time since I did anything on the car, Promised the wife we can do some house renovations.

I got some Vents for the bonnet to try help with cooling and deciding to add some stickers to try make it a little more "racecar"

Next up is probably doing subframe bushes and arms and then cutting up fenders to try make the 265 semi slicks fit.

Also gutted the interior for this weekend's track day ( 52KG's) and trying out a different wheel setup.

So trackday went well, Managed to improve my PB to 1:13.018 from 1:13.439.

I can feel I need a race seat next as im sliding alot in the cabin. I also tried running a square setup for the wheels and it seems it helped but it's difficult to say as the car has less power now than previously.

I also found a 3.46 bolted diff and ordered a Mfactory 1.5way lsd. This should hopefully help with getting better corner exits as on the low speed corners the car spins up the inside wheel.

So finally my Mfactory diff is here. Also some pics from Zwartkops.

Next up is pulling the rear subframe to do solid bushes and rose joints. Then refit with the lsd and try and make the wheels fit.

Anyone know a good body shop to make wide fenders?

Some more pics from zwartkops.

On a side note any recommendations for someone who can build the lsd properly for me?

Where did you get these vents from?

Can you not just take a fender roller to the fenders?

I need to make the fenders 50mm wider at the front and about 30mm at the back. I highly doubt the stock fenders will go this wide even with rolling.

Front is going from a 7.5J ET49 to 9.5J ET30
Rear is going from 8.5J ET52 to 9.5J ET35 I hope

So as the race season is upon us I finally managed to get the 1.5way diff installed and also get some solid subframe bushings. The bushes have greatly improved the feel and I'm still bedding in the diff however it feels a bit clunky to me.

Also managed to get some new 265 semi slicks for when I eventually get the car widened to get to my 265 square setup goal.

First race is in two weeks so still have to button up a few things before then. My brother is also busy getting the rose jointed arms made up as well as the trailing arms.
