Hi guys.

Please can you tell me the best place to get intake manifold seals.

Also anywhere locally that i can get swirl flap blanks.

Car is 2006 E90 330d.

Please I urgently need it as I took the intake out and hoping to get it this weekend and fit back.

Thank you.

I am sure you sorted by now but in future add pictures of what you want to do. Then one can advise accordingly. In most cases you can re-use the stock "blanks" for the swirl flap removal.

Best would be to source a 33mm blanking kit from Ebay or Aliexpress and install those blanks instead

Not sure if this helps
But I had my e90 20d swirl flaps removed by a shop.
Actually didn't know about these blanks but this was the picture they sent me

What’s the pros and cons of removing the swirl flaps?

Guess there aren't any downsides from what I've experienced thus far.
The pro is that it won't get sucked into your engine unexpectedly one day

Good Morning

If you remove the swirl flaps, you will have reduced torque at low rpm's and a slight increase in fuel consumption.

I opted to replace the intake manifold on my car at about 150k km.

I guess that's why most of the time this is done with a remap.
My car is averaging 6.7l/100km now after remapping 7 to 7.1/100km before, with a marked improvement on performance right through Rev range
