Sorry for the stress bud.... seems like all F10 have the cut out on the bumper. Never noticed that before. Your headlights definitely look oem.

@F21GP only pre-facelift xenon headlights had the honeycomb in the corners.

Yes agreed, this is a pre-facelift it’s a 2010. I’ve got a 2014 LCI and my headlight is different to this and the honeycomb

6 Month update...

Loving the car, very comfortable and has more than enough power for daily driving.
The car went to BMW and GST Motorsport shortly after I got the car to make sure everything was fine with the vehicle.

After knowing the car was mechanically fine, I decided to give @FiRi@Rennzport (A real kind, helpful and honest person) a visit to sort out the sad looking yellow lights.
Unfortunately, The LED's wouldn't fit in the brackets without some modifications to the bracket. I decided not to do it as I was scared about the warranty.

In March, was the first time I got to see how the car held up against a hot hatch (A reckless action).
Many friends and family had said that should not have been the outcome and their words worried me that there was perhaps something wrong with my car.
I took my car for a DYNO (pic attached) to @Xcede Performance and dealt with Juvan (Knowledgeable, Super helpful and goes the extra miles to assist).
He also checked to see if I had any oil and turbo issues. The car is running strong stock.

After reading on the forum things that should be checked on the vehicle and having a higher consumption than what others are experiencing, I sent it in for a check again.

Took it for a Gearbox service at ZF Germiston, this didn't work out, as the gearbox was never serviced before and the gearbox was estimated to have around 50000km left on it, with the main culprit being the 3rd gear (Pic attached). I will be sorting the gearbox out next year.
Also then went to my mechanic to inspect vibration damper for cracks/wear and another overall check.
Everything is still good. Fuel consumption has not improved even with driving real chilled.

Then took the car to AutoArmour Constantia for a smash and grab. Took them about 2.5 hours to do all windows. Their workmanship is real good and if I have any issues, they said I should just bring it back. I don't have any pictures of the car after I took it for smash and grab.

I contacted the dealership I purchased the car from to find out if warranty would be void by changing bumpers etc. Their response was that if it does not affect the electricals and is purely visual, they don't care.
Purchased a MSport kit (Front bumper, side skirts and rear bumper) and sent it off to AutoLounge, car is still there at the moment. I have been dealing with Eugene. So far, his communication has been superb.

Will update once the car is back from AutoLounge.

I got the car back from AutoLounge yesterday. Wonderful service from Eugene and really happy with the end product.
Below are some pics after collection from Autolounge. Already have a boot spoiler but was advised to rather put it on after the full polish and ceramic is done.
Car is booked in for a ceramic and detail with @Kiran@ImaginativeAuto 2 weeks from now.

The car needs a different set of wheels. Really struggling to find something not cracked.

looks great! where'd you get the parts from, id assume 5er M Sport parts would be hard to source.
the 19 inch M sport wheels will look great, cant remember the style number but the 5 by twin spoke one.

I imported the parts, struggled to get it here, and those that had it (accident damaged), required some work and wanted high prices. It worked out cheaper for me to bring it in.
I think you may be talking about the Style 351. I have been trying to get one without cracks struggling...

Yes I think anthracite will look great!

If you put the standard F10 MSport wheel it is going to look like any other F10 on the road which is most popular in white lol.

Update time

Exterior:

Car needed a good clean and polish and of to @Kiran@ImaginativeAuto it went. Detailed and a ceramic coating done.
I wasn't happy with the exterior chrome trims, it didn't suit the look I was going for. Kiran said he can wrap it and I got the roof wrapped one time.
Fitted on the mudflaps, not for aesthetics but practicality. Get a lot of black slimy material on the body from the tyres, unsure what it is. Doesn't feel like brake dust, but almost like tar.
Then came the side skirt extensions and the big boot spoiler, I plan on doing a 4 pipe conversion shortly after my warranty expires and feel this spoiler would pop once that is done.

To me, the car looked awesome but was still lacking a good set of rims.
After looking at many used OEM rims and new reps, I wasn't happy with what I was coming across.
What made it difficult was the fact that the tyres were quite new and I wasn't wanting to change tyres as well as rims.
I opted to having my current rims resprayed in anthracite and I love it.

Interior:
Replaced all the faded out aircon buttons (I lost one of the button caps, so am waiting for it to be delivered), park button and start button.
At the same time, I wrapped all the wood trim in a brushed titanium finish.
The ashtray which was broken was replaced.
Changed the key cover.
Leyman also sorted out the door handles on the car, the guy is friggen good and quick!

What I still want to do on the interior is the cabin lights as they are all yellow, a new steering wheel or getting this one recovered and an android head unit.

Mechanical:
Car is running amazing and feels great. recently went for a service and changed the Air, Oil, Fuel and Pollen filters.
However, fuel consumption has still not changed and am still getting 10l/100km urban at 35km average speed and driving calmly.
I have been wondering if a tune is in order and whether it affects fuel consumption positively or negatively?

PS. I am quite aware that the car looks like every other MSport F10 with the typical black on white, and very similar interior trim. However, its something I wanted for a very long time. When I was looking for the car, I struggled to find a MSport variant within my price point, all were R100k over what I was willing to pay.
