I'd train the wife first2017 X3 20d - 63,000km
The car rarely sees the highway, used mostly for school runs (by the wife)
I'm getting around 10,7-11l/100km 🥲
Anyway to improve this? #AskingForAFriend
I think I need to drop her shoe size...I'd train the wife firstI got my wife to drop consumption on my 30d X3 from 9.5 to 8.3, doing the same school run/short trips
Coasting 'in gear' with my E90 actually saves fuel according to what is displayed on the screen. I haven't tried dropping into neutral yet.A question I suppose for those that have answered or will.
What the consensus on dropping into neutral and freewheeling on downhills? Does it assist in conserving fuel?

HiHey bud.
This is friggen awesome consumption for urban.
You running on eco?
Also what are your tyre size front and back? I read somewhere that tyre size affects consumption.
I've tried both and it certainly does consume a bit when you are coasting in neutral. Tried in a manual Corolla.Coasting 'in gear' with my E90 actually saves fuel according to what is displayed on the screen. I haven't tried dropping into neutral yet.
Very interesting. I have the same tyres but 19's.Hi
Never use the car in eco as i find it lacks power
Tyres are 245/40/20 fronts and 275/35/20 on the rears
