Hi all.....new here. My E90 2005 323i is sluggish and i was told that even if i were to chip it, it would not improve by much. Would replacing the motor with a 330 or 335 motor be an option and easy fit and what would be an approximate cost?

Don't build what you can buy. If you want more power - get a 335i. But of course be ready for the obvious added costs (petrol, insurance, maintaining a more powerful motor).

are you saying its sluggish because it just is or its become that way due to an issue?
if its the later , get to the root of it before being hasty.
if its the earlier , I would just sell it and look to buy 330i or 335i
