zwartkops is having an open track day on Sunday. anyone going?
Also, for those of you who have tracked your cars... do you have/need track insurance?

Hey bud,

Have attended a few of them. Not going to be able to make this Sunday. Track insurance is for your own security. Not required. Remember to wear closed shoes and long pants. Keep a jacket or something handy in case they ask for it. Normally not. Oh and they will not let you on without a helmet. Be sure to sign up and do some runs on the skidpan as well.

I've done a few track days on the bike, never in a car - I must keep an eye out for another one of these events as I won't be able to make it today.

So you can go on the track and skidpan too, with your own car?

How does one get track insurance for your car? I know most bike insurance companies just require prior notice in order for one to be covered - although with a car?
