Track costs R300 for the day (Need long pants, Long shirt, Shoes & Helmet)

Skidpan is R150 for the day or R50 for 5 rounds & R10 to be a passenger


Skidpan open @ 10am..

JHB Guys can meet up in Fourways at about 8:30 & Drive through @ 9am

Sankekur your brother better come too, I wanna see his car.. I am hoping to have my "Short Shift" Installed by the 10th Got a test next wednesday, so thursday & friday will be when I get it done & Hopefully dont stuff it up or something.. Or hopefully I am able to get it back together..

Yeah, as far as I know he is planning to be there.

I am also looking into a short shift for my car. Only problem is that a lot of the DIY's make it seem very easy as they don't mention that you have to remove the exhaust to be able to get to the linkages etc., well that is on my car at least, theres is absolutlu no room as the gearbox is huge.
But i have thought of a way of doing it where I might not even have to jack the car up, but I still have to try it out to see if it will actually work.

Well I will have a look next week..

I will need to have access under the car, as I am replacing all the bushes & plastic bearings & things for the whole shift assembly, & Not just swopping the shorted gear stick in..

If I get stuck, I will ask for some help

It shouldn't be too much of a problem on your car as your gearbox is a bit smaller I think, so access might be a bit easier.
I had a look underneath my car a while back and my center cats are almost directly under the shift linkages, so that doesn't exactly help in terms of access.
