Zwartkops Airbase Meet - 05-11-2011 - Pics added

Hi everyone, but mostly the Gauteng guys.

I was at the Zwartkops Airbase Museum over the weekend, and I took ALLOT of pics, will post tomorrow. When we were there I saw the AC Cobra club was there posing and taking pictures... :tease:

I spoke to a Crnl. Sheppard at the airbase and he said on the first saturday of every month they do their training, and we are more than welcome to do a Meet and Eat at the airbase. :excited:

Now, here are the details:

Date: 05 November 2011
Location: Zwartkops Airbase, old jhb road (R101) and Godiva street, Valhalla.
Time: 08:30-09:00 till 15:00 (you can leave when you want)
Cost: R20 per car :thumb:

Ok, so there are over 20 planes to see and even some you can get into. There is also a restaurant, cheaper than Wimpy and Spur on the premise, and the owner just needs to know how many are coming and she can cater for us for a breakfast, or lunch, hell an entire menu. You do however buy your own food and drink ok.

Now this would be a GREAT meet, cause we would be able to take some wicked pics of our rides with the planes, and also get to see some pilot training happening. :excited:

PLEASE feel free to ask any questions, and add your name to the list. I know its more than 2 months away, but better we get the ball rolling now, and book the date before some other club takes it. :thumbsup:

Hi guys, ok so here are just a few pics of our day at Zwartkops Airbase Museum. It wasreally great fun, and like I said, entrance is free. Now I didn't post all the pics, and also my camera's battery died cause mommy forgot to charge it, so there are ALLOT more stuff to see. :thumb:
