ZF no oil

Hi,

Just got off the phone with ZF in Johannesburg.
They are only getting oil in mid-January.

My car is jerking after gear changes quite harshly, Is there something I can do in the meantime to keep it driveable ?

Hi bud. Maybe check if BMW has stock of the oil and get a labour price for the service and oil change from ZF.

When I checked with BMW for the oil on my F30 320d manual it was around R800.

Yep gearbox oil....manual transmission... not sure about the auto box oil prices.

The ZF factory in Germany had a fire hence the shortage of oil. Hopefully should be back to normal by February. This is what the ZF guys told me when I was there in November.

If you go there they will test and tell you what the problem might be. Could be not related to oil. My transfer case also gave a jerking symptom
