Zeemax rendezvous

A big :thumbsup: to Zaid and the guys at Zeemax who managed to squeeze me in yesterday (Eid Day) even though they were running with skeleton staff.
My waterpump gave in and it needed to be replaced asap.

So I get there and Skwinty is there keeping a watchful eye over the work being done to the Mini - some go faster bits being added

@Skwinty -- hope all went well and you are satisfied with the results. Yesterday was however not the best conditions to be on the dyno with the temperature topping 30 in the pm.
Perhaps you could post the dyno sheet here if you were satisfied with the results?

Hi Zabbo,
I had a Magnaflow header and exhaust fitted.
That alone raised the power by 23kW.
Then the unichip sorted the fuel/air ratio and timing, and raised the power by another 8 kw.

Power peaked at 156kw/209hp and 250Nm torque. Yes, the temperature was an issue once the engine was heat soaked and the fan provided insufficient overall cooling.

On a cold day the power may increase to 160kw/214hp.
Can't get the grin of my face. Awesome increase in performance although the zorst is a bit loud when revs hit above 5000rpm.

Mods so far are:
15% pulley, chip and magnaflow.
