Z4 M Coupe chipped at sea-level!

We chipped a Z4 M coupe at the coast. Customer chose the dyno and took the car for the before and after runs. Gained 24kw on the wheels with software only, on pump fuel. Went to ODR and saw similar gains, although I don't have the details of that. Please excuse the cellphone pics. We were not present for the stock & chipped runs as the customer wanted to test our software independently without us present.

That's a hyper power dyno?
The car was run in fourth ?
Is this on the flywheel ?
I would presume so as we tested ryans stock z4 on bimmerworks and did 245kw in fourth

Yes it's a hyperpower. Yes it was run in 4th. No it's not engine power. It's wheel power. It says "Ambient power corrected only" on the graph. The owner has the graph and I have asked him to scan it. But he is a rather busy businessman so I don't know when he will get a chance.

It doesn't matter what gear or what type of power or whatever. As stock in was dyno'd in 4th and chipped it was dyno'd in 4th. A dyno is to see the difference in power and it was 24kw. The car went to ODR and also gained over wheel hp uncorrected. Yes sir. 20hp gain. And I don't know what the numbers are, maybe ask the owner. I don't want to hear what other cars made or whatever as ODR is an uncorrected dyno and also no 2 cars are the same. The point is this very car gained over 20hp on 2 seperate dyno's, and none of us were present during the runs. We have enough confidence in our tuning to let the customers go dyno whereever they want because we know it will gain.

When you going to ODR to see gain? Looking forward to seeing it and analysing the graphs.

I don't know, the details were kept from me. But please, pretty please, bear in mind we are looking at the gain here. What it makes relative to other cars on different days is immaterial. All that matters is what this car made before and now. If somebody else like Boned or whoever has the fastest car known to man, then that is good for them. I am really and truly happy they scored. But dyno's are there to measure the gain.

But yeah, maybe you can find out the number, I wasn't told the absolute numbers nor do I care about them. I care that that the peak gain was over 20hp.

Hi,

Has anybody fitted a full titanium system to a E92/93 M3 and kept their motor plan intact the same time. Or is it just better to stick to the schnitzer back box which cost more or less the same as the full system? Any advice?
