Yes an aftermarket tune can do that Cois. But its more likely BMWs own tune which was not programme properly - in this instance

dunno hey, supose its possible.. just find it weird, i mean i have 15 year old nissan ecu's that i have opened a rechipped dozens of times.. they have never missed a beat..

BMW can't mess up the performance pack updrade. They plug it into the ISIS system, it connects to Germany, does a firmware & software update to the Performance pack revision. The dealership does nothing but plug it into the ISIS & the rest is done by the system in Germany automatically, no human intervention.

On N54/N55 you sometimes have to accept that you gonna' get a fault once in a while.

That's what I was advised as well.i actually specifically asked if someone will be tuning it themselves.

Bilal, did you get this red envelope that the guys talk about in the states?

Yip got the red envelop, cars been moving well ever since I got it bak, one think I noticed much heavier on fuel than before,wonder how come
