Hi all,

Some of you might be aware that i met with an unfortunate accident, which lead to my E46 318i M Sport becoming a technical write off. I could have bought it back from the insurance, but opted not to as i wanted something with a lil more oomph......

So i bought a 6 cylinder:

2004, 325i, SMG, 124000km on the clock, Exclusive pack, FSH, Silver Grey, Sunroof... and that 6 cylinder growl that drives me mad :excited:

Please forgive the dirty car, i didnt have any other time to take these pics. It has been washed since then.

Picked her up last thursday, and took her straight to the airport to sleep in the long term parking. only got back to jozi on sunday night, midnight, and took these pics on Monday morning.

My baby's just been to the fine team at Tunetech for an oil service. They found that the control arm bushes needed replacing, as well as the front and rear brake disks and pads. So i got them done. Other than that the car has been given a clean bill of health.

Nice  glad to se you are behind the wheel of a beemer again.

So what are your next stuff to do? Maybe fix the scratch on the back bumper, and then do something about that wood trim, unless you like it of course :mmm:

Well, my wife and i both kinda like the wood trim. I will change it but at a later time.

the back bumper will be repaired, just not right now. ive spent alot of my own money to get this car. it wasnt a straight payout from insurance, then this car. i had to cough up my savings to accomodate the extra cost.

i paid R108000 for this car. not expensive, nor cheap.

Nice ride Xmax:thumbsup:. I'm interested to hear about the response on that sports button.:)

Dude, first off, big ups to u for being up so early in the morning, and on the forum.

Secondly, thanks.

Thirdly, regarding the sport button, I've noticed that when engaged, the gear changes are harder and quicker. Other than the gear changes, nothing much else to report. Throttle response is the same, as well as the ride. Its not like the sport button on the M cars.

To all who replied. Thanks for the comments.

Geez man, R120k is steep if u ask me. But I've bought my other car from this guy also, and we are working out deals on 2 more cars for my buddies.
I guess that's y I got it at a more reasonable price.
