Xcede/X-Flow + XPT Boosted Scirocco

After selling the K04 setup, Ally from X-Flow and I discussed building a Big Turbo setup for the Scirocco. This is the first new gen VAG car to be fitted with a XPT turbo, and will serve as a platform to refine the setup and specs.

Specifications as follows:

TSI
Stock internals
Stock fuel system
XPT X54 Turbo
X-Flow tubular turbo manifold
X-Flow boost piping
X-Flow 76mm downpipe
Turbosmart external wastegate
Stock intercooler
Custom intake
Xcede software
DSG

After some fine tuning after Drag Wars, the following results were obtained:

439 whp
554 Nm



This setup has a lot more room for improvement with the boost set at only 1.6 bar, which is just starting to get into the X54's real efficiency range. With an upgraded fuel system and DSG clutches, we should have no problem achieving 500whp +

X-Flow is the Sister company of Xcede, specializing in the hardware (Exhausts, DP, etc) side of Xcede Performance.

i think this turbo needs the higher boost level to make sense night now the K04 is better till about 5000 RPM gained quite a bit on the power side but drivability will be way down from the K04 on the street

it needs the higher boost level to improve the low RPM torque cant wait for updates

Dude, this car in its current state is scary fast, more so when you a passenger. as you get to higher gears you get funny feeling in your stomach. :biglol:

At Drag wars few weeks ago, the Track was not prepped the full 400m as it is with Nationals, As soon as it left the prepped section into the un-prepped, it was breaking traction and that was in 3rd.

right now fast when the RPM is up yes with higher boost once level the turbo will be running more in its optimum range as said in the 1st post... this will improve the under curve drastically and complete the car...
