Gonna leave my AH3 stock and be happy with 250kw flywheel power.
BMW did update the software and the car feels stronger.
Kal23 said:Tuners won't offer a guarantee on stuff blowing up. At owners risks as always. Then again surely its irresponsible to claim that said software won't be detected (factory's financial protection)?

QikNish said:Sherwyn.. i cant tell you what they look for but the info they need is probably in FASTA data if they know what to look for. Any mods on my M3 will be a risk of voiding the valuable Motorplan....didn't spend over a Million on a car to put a 10k tune on it and risk halving it's value. But dont get me wrong, I'm not knocking your business .... If my car didn't have Motorplan you'd probably be the first guy I'd call to tune it, your numbers are impressive. Just want guys to be weary that there are risks.
To quote another forum post...
"Bottom line, unless the tuner gives you a guarantee in writing that it is "undetectable" and guarantees to reimburse you for any repair denied due to a tune, I'd assume you are driving a vehicle that is no longer under warranty."

Lastly some boitie from South Africa is smarter than a bunch of engineers that designed the thing not to mention countless tuners in the rest of the word, while not impossible statistically that happening is slim.

Tuner promises high and low it's undetectable as to not void your warranty/motorplan - stinks of trying to defraud the manufacturer (helping someone steal is still being part of a crime)

Hi there. The ECU is made by Bosch, not BMW.
Also it's not just me thats undetectable. Most of the industry use the same protocols and are not detectable. I don't know if this is your guys field or how you can preach with such an ignorant brain. What exactly will a Bosch calibration engineer detect. Please im waiting for an answer this whole thread.

What exactly are we, or anyone that modifies any car, stealing? Is a piggyback also stealing, cos that's also modifying. Is changing your tyres to stickier tyres and then breaking a sideshaft also stealing. Is lowering your car stealing because BMW don't allow that as well but yet we dont tell then we lower our cars.
Rotinaj said:If he can steal so can i. Well done.
