Very popular mod on N54 and N55s but what can one expect :

Here is a example of these downpipes manufactured and fitted by Xcede Performance Center (Xflow)

Custom made with proven dyno/road results

Downpipes also available for all model cars , decat , cat foolers etc

Full exhaust systems available for all cars with dyno proven results.

Downpipe is part of the exhaust that connects to the turbo and goes underneath the car and connects to a catalytic convertor or muffler.

In most cases this catalytic convertor is removed allowing a free flow of air to pass through.

With this theory a car performance increases as it does not need to go through multiple bends or small holes inside a exhaust box.

This is the best in laymans terms that can be explained

No need for cat foolers on the x35 or Diesels. No codes

Car cannot go into service to BMW with these on.

Bolt on, bolt off is the best, can be done at the performance center as we do with all the cars.

Midsection works nicely but once again with MP , rather not touch that.

The bolt on , bolt off DPs with be the route to go.

Nope not the branch. Tryin my best to quote without even seeing the car. As with any car we will never know what it has till its on the lift unless it still under MP.
