Are ur tyres runflats?
What pressure do you inflate them to?

Are ur fronts 275/40/20 and rear 315/35/20?

I have the X6 with those size tyres, the tyres have done 24 000km already and reckon they are still good or another 10 000km hopefully

what brand tyres did you have on first and what do you have on now?

People must remember that a big heavy car will be heavier on tires. Driving style is probably the biggest factor. Not sure there is much you can do to tire wear other than change driving style and do regular check on wheel alignment

Dear Scouse ,
I am amazed that you have so much life on yours. Well done.
Yes, i have the same tyres as U (275/40/20 and rear 315/35/20). I am using the Pirelli Runflats. They were always the Pirelli as i got the second set for R15K.

I normally use 2.5bar pressure on all 4 tyres.
I used to push that car hard at first, then i realised that the tryes (and the fuel) goes quickly and have eased down alot. I have a 2 year old son (AND a WIFE) so i dont drive fast when they in the car.

I sure hope that this is a problem that BMW can sort out as i have heard that many other X5 have similar problems. Take for example my bro-in-law has a Toyota Fortuner (weight about- 1.8t) and he has done about 65000kms on his tyres. Granted they are not low profile and not as much negative on the camber - but you dont see a fortuner rolled over everywhere you drive due to it inability to handle the bends. I hope BMW can do something about this. These tyres are not cheap. We are not asking for 70000kms but 40k kms would be nice.

BTW - how "often" is regular wheel alignment? I have heard as low as 5000kms.
