technical X5 Engine Fault - full engine power

Has anybody got any advise or suggestions what the following Engine Fault means. Received this a few times today, clear the fault and the vehicle continues to operate normally.

Yes, it can be many things however best to get it diagnosed. Dont get too worried, it is an engine component but does not mean it is a major item only.
