I ended up going with KSD + Unichip as well as my bmw specialist recommended him and i trust his judgement.
Power went from 156kw and 460nm to 185kw and 560nm, only software done, car drives factory stock, just smoother with more power.
Cold start, smoke levels everything is factory.
The car is definitely lighter on fuel when crusing and in traffic, hi-way I got it upto 13km/l , previously the highest was 10.5km/l on the same trip, on a flat road at 100 the economy gauge shows 5L/100km. To work I normally got 8.5/6 km/l when cruising, this morning it was 10km/l. In traffic its much easier to safe fuel now, when pulling away and getting to cruising speeds.
Car is also noticeably more powerful and flat out it accelerates noticeably quicker, will consider dpf removal later on.

I had mine done about 2 years ago.
Town driving between 9.4 and 10.
Highway to Amamzintoti full car plus trailer 7,8 l/100.
Reliability;- never had a problem.
My car is auto, but I drive it manually, i.e. shift gears myself, which I think helps.
Only problem is smoke from exhaust, but it's behind me so no problem.
