X5 4.0 Fuel Consumption

I get an average of 8.1l/100 on the open road. Way off the 6. Something advertised. What is the best anyone else gets pleAse

Welcome to the forum... Good luck getting the claimed figures. Those are generated in a laboratory...

Advertised figures are tested in a controlled environment, so it would be hard to tell real life figures depending on your drivers style and route.

I am sure I am also not getting claimed figures on my X6 but still exelent consumption for the ride quality and performance.
