X35i Spark plugs

Ola guys

My car developed a bit of a miss fire this morning. Its gone now. I suspect its the plugs. Is the there a specific plug we need to use when we run Eth?

I added 2 litres of Ethanol mixed with 8 litres of 95ron last week. now I'm back to just pump fuel.

Never had the car on Map 7. only Map 5.

Don't use map 7 with so low octane. If you are tuned more than just jb4 you can go iridium plugs, contact Rennzport for them. If you are just jb4 then the orm plugs will be fine :thumbs:

Unfortunately Ethanol is really bad for our plug.
Running map 5 with JB4, stick to oem Bosch.

i have been running eth and meth for 10k km with oem plugs and had no issues
so far

Yepp my buddy at BMW also told me the run X5M plugs.

They apparently run stronger than the other plugs or something.

But they are really expensive

335i plugs: R271 each
X6M plugs: R368 each

G-drive:
335i: R 83 each

I wonder why the 200% mark up @BMW.

whether tuned or modified the n54 eats plugs for brekkie...any fuel mixes only aggravate that situation, keep to a golden rule of 20k km for tuned or 10k kms for heavily modified and you eliminate any reason for worry...

G Drive was struggling with stock from Bosch
It's the same Bosch plug in a non-BMW box. Stealers!!!

Hi Guys.

Got the codes read.

2C7B Lambda probe behind catalytic converter 2, signal
29E1 Fuel mixture control 2
2A13 DMTL diagnosis module tank leakage, leakage diagnosis pump, input signal
30FC Exhaust fume turbo charger, density

Guess it wasn't the plugs after all. Could it be caused by damaged Vacuum lines?

Try clearing the faults out using inpa and then reset all the adaptations .... Could've been an issue when you installed the downpipes
