Mine sits at around 9.8 most of the time and I’m in traffic a lot.

In traffic it's still quite good for such a heavy vehicle.

Hows the open road figures?

Very good. Lowest I’ve gotten was 6.5 but I know my brother in-law claims 5,5, I’ve never got that.

Only difference is I have 20inch and he has 19. Not sure if that’s the reason or just our driving style.

I've seen 5.1 once bud. Right after a service and a very straight road with 17" RFT's.

X3 is awesome. It’s perfect imo in all aspects.

Getting an idea of how these cars perform. The 30d was showing an average of 13.2l/100km. Probably mostly city driving, but I'm taking the 30d option off the table. The wife will be sitting in traffic and the car must still be relatively light on fuel.

Something wrong with that 30d bud, mine never goes over 10L/100km in traffic, open road it's around 8.5L/100km

I can vote for this. Mine sits around 7.7-8.5 at 130km/h. If i enjoy it on the open road, i get between 6-10km/l.

My X3 3.0d gave 14.5 on the open road at 128 gps, not much of a fuel difference between 3.0d and 2.0d

I bought a 09 x3 2.0d msport 2 weeks back.
Coming back from joburg to natal the wife was driving and she got 5.8l/100km.
Man was I surprised.

Here is proof.
