X1 X-Drive 2.0d Auto consumption

hi guys, my bro-in-law picked up his X1 2.0d Automatic, he is a bit worried about the fuel consumption though.

on the open road to dbn and back, he got 6.1km's with a trailer as well.

in town, he is getting between 10-11l/100km. is this consumption good or bad?

the car has the 17 inch exclusive wheels as it is an exclusive model.

X-drive vehicles also use a bit more fuel than their RWD counterparts

That may be too much. I have a friend with same car and he quotes fantastic urban consumption rates... but then he was trying to justify what he paid for it.

thats true, it his first 2.0d and it is 4wd, so he is imminent that it should be as the book says so we trying to find out
