Hi fellow enthusiasts. We are considering upgrading the family wagon(07 Rav4 2.2 d4d) and are looking at the following options.
2011 fortuner facelift
2010 BMW X5 30d
2012 BMW X3
BMW X1 20d
BMW X1 23d

My reason for this post though is, what's the difference between the X1 20d and 23d? Which is most reliable?

The standard 20d and 30d engines are solid and very reliable (probably the 20d more than the 30d).

I went through a similar exercise when I was looking for something a bit bigger. Fortuner is super thirsty and a bit basic for the money, and the old X1 is dated especially if you don't get the 8-speed auto.

X3 is probably the better buy as the engine is extremely reliable, it'll be an xDrive model, and you'll get the 8-speed auto.

X3 20.d Xdrive all the way...

In terms of the Facebook post you will have to view/test drive it to make a determination.

I do like the one on the Facebook post. My concern is just related to whether or not that mileage is ok.

Furthermore, here's an X1 from webuycars

That X3 milage is normal for a 2011 model...slightly over 22 000ks per annum which is not bad.

The X1 in your pic looks fresh and amazing. Whats the Ks on it?
