I have always like the X1 since it was released and saw it as an option for my wife as it is reasonably affordable.

This new one really steps up the game. But as always if it gets bigger the price will surely follow.

Its not too bad. Seems to be more geared towards the Q3 shape.

well in physical terms it's got shorter and lighter according the specs, so 'less car' so to speak But with more tech included it will be interesting to see how it stacks up in prices vs the old model.

The FX rate is not helping us either way at the moment as i'm sure even the current model would get more expensive if it continued to sell.

Very interesting, the mounting of engine transversely allows the A pillar to be moved so far forward, I really think thats a huge contributor to the better proportions of the car.
