The guys are correct about comment 'level'. Stay away from vehicles with high level comments.
When I tried trading in my E90 330d, Sandton Auto refused to give me a good trade in value because my car had comments (replaced front passenger door and mirror after some cake bumped into me at 30kph). The repair job was flawless BTW. Anything ARC do to your car is recorded as a comment and you won't get full trade for your car no matter how minor. This is one of the biggest reasons some people don't take their cars to ARC. Just because a vehicle doesn't have comments doesn't mean it hasn't been repaired :idea:
To answer your question, yes I would buy a car with comments depending on severity/level.
