Howdy fanatics.

I'm in 2 minds at the moment.
Have been offered 120k for my 2008 300d M Sports (manual) on trade in on
2012 F30 320d (manual).

My current millage is 193k
My ride got satnav, keyless start and entry, light package, xenons, sunroof

Dealer's ride is on 124k
Got xenons and sunroof.

Any input would be welcome....

Currently it rides like a dream. Not paid of yet.
Only concern is the outdated model...

Try to sell it privately 1st before trading it in...a 330d in manual is very scarce and worth way more than 120k. The mileage is high but who cares about mileage in a diesel..Im sure someone on this site will take it off your hands quickly..GLWS!

Ps. I sold my e90 330d auto and bought the f30 320d auto...cars are worlds apart...the 320d does not have the brutal power of the 330d..

1. Refinancing finance is a bad idea, you are wasting money
2. Outdated model is not a legitimate reason IMO.

You have great car, take good care of it, and she will take care of you.

The best BMW to own is a paid off BMW

The way things are looking in our country and generally in the world the best move would be to keep the debt that you have now and try to reduce it as much as possible. If there are not mechanical issues with the 330D and it does what needs to be done rather keep it.

New car is only exciting for 3 months then after that its all the same.

Keep the 330

Thanks for the advice.
Seems like I got a stupid idea reading the replies.
We all have a brain fart from time to time, and sometime
we need to ask advice.

Keep the 330d . I don't think you will ever be satisfied with the 320d power after "downgrading"

Keep the 330d. They are amazing cars, and yours got some nice extras too.

These new 320d's dont feel as nice as an e90 or e46.

My fathers sister got a f30 320d and i hate driving that car compared to my 330d

I must confuse that I never thought of owning a diesel car until I joined this fanatics. To this day I am humbled by the advise you get from the fanatics!

I have the same car with similar mileage. The car is bulletproof I would not change it for anything less. Keep the car you will thank us later!

So I went to go and test drive a F30 320d manual, in a nutshell
it was very nippy.
But for some strange reason they now offered me R115k, telling me
since it's a manual they would struggle to sell it....WTF??
Told them to shove there car where the sun ain't shinning

I think it is most probably cause the diesels are married to auto boxes these days, the real man machine isnt made anymore, is like unicorns. Manual FTW
