wiper blades Mini R53

hey all,

Girlfriend's 2006 S/C mini Cooper S R53 needs new wipers.

what's the best value for money? Get from BMW or are there other options?

Wiper blades I would get from bmw.

I just replaced the front ones on my Mini.

Bosch Aero blades from Midas R70 each. They are 19cm.

They were about R350 for a set for the e90. So i just stuck with oem for R500

Abree the passenger one is actually longer than the driver one on the minis. Just what ever you do don't get durablades.

I can report back on this a bit.

Dealers quoted me R460 for a set for the R53. I would pay that twice in stead of using normal ones because anything above 110 and normal blades start lifting up.

That said you can buy normal bosch ones and just replace the rubber part, to retain the wing on the driver side blade.

Just checked my wife's R56 and she will be needing new wiper blades aswel

Yes I think so.

But do this. Go to Midas or Autozone or Nascar, eve your local fuel staion. Buy the correct length wiper blade, strip out the rubber of the old bmw blades and put the rubber from the new ones n.
