Windscreen chip repair Sandton/Midrand area.

Hey guys any recommendations on where to get a small windscreen chip repaired in the Sandton or Midrand area. Good option would also be contact details for mobile guys that dealers use, they usually do good work.

Used the PG Glass in Wynberg a couple years back, was not to happy with the result as they drilled 2 "large" holes into the crack which remained quite visible after the repair. I know they do this to get the resin into the crack but I have seen other repairs done with more finesse and leaving a better end result.

If the crack isnt bad and you dont want to replace the windscreen using cutex and leave for an hour or 2 and then wipe away using cutex remover this will stop the chip or crack from spreading lol if used this method works like a charm ...

Its not too bad, looks more circular than the star type cracks. Dont think it needs the windscreen to be replaced, just want to improve the appearance of the chip and reduce the risk of future damage.

Does the cutex actually fill the damaged area improving the appearance?

Well the apperance stays the same they cutex just stops the crack from damaging the windscreen further, so basically the mark remains but the cutex helps prevent the damage from getting worse ...
