I have both so think that qualifies me to answer. Guess which one stands the most? The 320d.
On long trips the 320d (4,2) the 330d (4,9). The gearing is longer on the 330d so is quiter and because of lower revs is very efficient.
The 320d sounds like a tractor where the 330d could almost pass as a petrol car with noisy injectors.
In town the 320d (5,2) the 330d (7.5).
At low speeds the 320d is adequate but higher up there is an enormous difference.:nonono:

I would also say keep the 330. You will miss the power if you go with the 320.

I also had to decide between a 330d with 68 000km and an F30 320d with 9000km. It was a hard decision and I took the F30 320d. As a friend said to me "How many times a day are you really going to drive like a maniac? And use all that power"

with the 330d my motorplan would be finished with in a year but the F30 I have 5 years. And I must say I am happy with the power for it is faster than a 325i e90. So its not bad and light on fuel depending on your foot.

You have to check your finance on how much they will give you for the 330d and do your maths. If you do not have much outstanding and your 330d is looked after then I will keep it. Remember this. Your trade will be better with some motorplan left but if its finished your trade drops like a sack of hot potatoes. Also e90 prices are dropping fast due to the used F30's becoming more available

I would go for the F30 if the conditions are right.
