Will F10 Wheels fit an E60

Guys,

To cut a long story short. With the extra Power Promotec have provided me I need to fit wider tyres to my E60 530d.

I have a found a full set of F10 (Style 328) 18" Rims with 245/45/18 tyres with 80% tread left that will cost me the same price as buying 2 new tyres for my current 17" rims.

So: Will the F10 18" rims fit my E60 (which currently has 225/50/17) ? My biggest question is over the rims fitting rather than the tire profile..

THANK YOU!

just make sure the offsets are the same/similar... Then you should be fine. 5er's tend to have very unique offset requirements..

nope,...., unfortunately, not without spacers. the F10 have a high offset compared to the e60

The new wheel will sit 10 mm deeper the styling328 is a30 offset your current wheel has a 20 offset.Maybe you should test fit because the 328 uses a 245/45/18 vs 225/50/17:thumbs:

Ok, let me correct myself, it will fit, it will be very close to the front struts. It might catch(cant be sure there) on the inner plastics. But the general package will sit 20mm more in than it currently is .

i use this website, http://www.rimsntires.com/specs.jsp

and if i put in all the specs, it says the set will sit 30mm closer to suspension and 20mm more inward at the fender. I hope i got the right measurements.

No Problem, comes in very handy. Finding wheels for the E60 is pain unless one is willing to pay excessive amounts of money for custom wheels or slapping on spacers.

Spacers aren't my first option, but will consider it if nothing else comes up.

I'm just curious.... you say your current set up is 225/50/17?? If you have the e60 530d mpack you should have the multispoke 18" rims on with 245/45/18 all round? How come your set up is different?

The e60 comes standard with 245/40/18 that's on 18s.sash just double check the calculations the stock 17 is 20 offset you have 10 and rim width on stock is 7 1/2j

Thanks for that, there were some issues with my calcs. I was comparing what splintheter has and the F10 wheels he can get.

But my values were still wrong, they should be

still quite close to suspension , the package will still sit inward.
