You get one born every day (in this case two). A healthy debate becomes unhealthy when it is repeatedly brought up over and over again by bored people who cannot think up any interesting topics of their own.
there is nothing wrong with the m3 but there is with some people who worship them with blinkers on. threads like this are breeding grounds for trolls like biofreak. I vote to close the thread. over and out

I'm not being biased but you sound like you need to justify owning an M3 to all of us. Boet life is short, enjoy the things that make you happy and 4get the things that put a dampen on the spring in your step. Now do me a favor and take that beast of yours for a drive, I promise it'll put a bigger smile on your face then any comment you are going to find on any forum...

Guys , on a truly serious note.
As the laws around dangerous driving isnt enforced in SA, it's a breeding ground for illegal midnight races, motorway tailgaters and traffic light grand prixs champions.... Therefore,Fast cars , like the 335 become rolling trophies at the cost of other innocent road users
And.. You don't risk losing your licence by doing this either.
The M, which ever one it is ,cannot show off its capabilities from home to work or from tragic light to traffic light but rather on a track.
I'm a big BMW fan irrespective of model and know that the 335, petrol or diesel is a bombshell .
I will start posting proper threads now as I have over the past 7 weeks

I could care less how good my car is at the track, I never go to a track, the only track I have is one repeat and it's called ' danger zone' I used to play it every time I got into my m3 and then I would put on my sunglasses, m watch, m shirt and Ferrari racing shoes, rev the car up the hill and out of my house and then.... I would go to the shop and drive back home.

I didn't intentionally try to get your or anyone else's backs up. I thought this is what a forum is about? Voicing opinions, discussions, etc. If there is a thread on common questions I should rather ask than voicing my opinion could you please direct me there?
Which M5 and M3? In my humble opinion and without trying to stir or cause anyone unhappiness, I reckon an E39 M5 with a few mods ranks higher than even the E90 M3's.
In terms of audio the E60 M5 also ranks higher but everywhere else i prefer the E90 tbh... And I dunno about the F10. Not quite sure the artificial feel of the car agrees with me.
All of this my opinion of coarse. Please, don't get pissed off

Bio, I don't think Abmi's post was directed at you, but to ANYONE and EVERYONE that is stirring again!!
In fact, I completely agree with your argument on the fact that if someone can spend R50k to get to the M3 level, then why not spend R50k and mod the M3 as well if you can afford it??
For that matter... why not go away from the bmw brand and buy a Porsche, or Ferrari, or Lambo, or something like that???
