Whos gonna be here over the holidays ?

Who of you in the Gauteng area is also fortunate to stay behind in good old Gauteng because you cannot go away for the holidays ? Uber and myself had this idea of meeting up somewhere after the 15th, and have like a braai or a potjie. Uber suggested his place.

What you guys think ?

Well, Nooka and myself will be here the whole time by choice, being as we are moving into our new place...so lots of unpacking! A braai does sound great, just not on the public holiday (16th Dec) . Will be taking the week off between Christmas and New Year...

Let's through around some possible dates and see. The suggested dates thus far sounds 100%. We'll wait for Sir Uber to get on the bandwagon and hear what he says. Thanx for the offer zaleonardz. Lets see how things turn out. My place is big enough for 6 people, and then we are cramped. So my place is out. If the turnout is of such proportion that there is alot of guys, we can always look at like a park or something. Nice photo op ?

Sunday sounds sweet. We just need to verify if it is Sunday 20 December 2009. I say we need a cut off to decide by 12pm (afternoon) Thursday 17 November 2009. We need to know exactly how many is coming, alone or partner, then we need to know, braai or potjie. I can do the potjie thing, only problem is that it is a nr 3 potjie, unless soneone has got another nr 3 potjie or a nr 4. In the case of two potjies, we can do either the same potjie, or two different potjies. I usaly do a lamb knuckle potjie. Maybe a chicken or beef potjie.

Please let us know A.S.A.P and then we can make the final arrangemenst. I would like to end the year on a high and with some good friends. :thumbsup:

Braai might be a better idea as I know everyone has their own choices and cooking habbits, but we are easy eitherway

Clutchy, do you want me to bring you back your 540I gearbox when we have the get together at Uber's place? Not sure I am going to get a chance before next year to arrange to drop it off?
