Lysis is a real engine Fanatic
He has been hanging around the Workshop while his father (a1exander) toils away at his wonderful machines since a very young age and has picked up a few things :rollsmile:

he was largely responsible for the work done on these cars:

Lysis has a scientific approach to engine work... no Guess work here it is done with the correct tools in the right way... this ensures the Job is done perfectly every time...

Axis Engine Works is in Sandton JHB

A few examples of what we offer

All M5x, M6x, S5x and S6x motors Vanos repair and seal.

///M motor shim checks and replacements.

Timing chain guide replacement.

Cylinder head gasket replacement.

On any of these jobs a de-sludge could be done on the cylinder head whilst the motor is open. An oil change can also be done with LM oil...

I would like to thank Sean for giving me the opportunity to work on these magnificent machines. I look forward to restoring the grunt to many BMW engines and I'm sure you will see that the work will speak for itself.

Unfortunately I don't keep stock of any products yet as this is a brand new venture. However, there are plans to keep stock of certain items in the near future.

Are there any Axis products in particular which you are looking for? I can organise to get hold of whichever items you are interested in.

I'm located just off Republic Rd where the William Nicol meets Republic.
