Hi guys
Was getting a few PM regarding discounts
Like my previous thread I'm getting NO discount on this this order
But I did get a very good trade in on my car
I was lucky to get an allocation for September October delivery
I don't mind cause I can spec the car how I like it
My dealer did say that if I'm prepared to wait for a car for early next year then I can get discount

Which dealer in Durbs are you using bud?

They sold a friend of mine an E90 320i that was involved in a major collision, only found out when he sent the car in for a motorplan claim and they told him motorplan was void

Anyone expecting a white M3 from SMG Cape Town? just drove past and saw it sitting on its chassis on the back of the transport truck, looks like the driver didn't have both ramps down when he reversed it off.
Maybe have a look underneath when you accept it (back left)

Went past BMW today to have a look at them in the flesh...and I have to say the pictures don't do these cars justice...they are beautiful and have amazing presence! The M3 IMO looked a little more aggressive than the M4 in person...but not enough to make me change my order. Interestingly though, I DID change the colour on my order. After seeing both M3 and M4 in white today, I has extremely disappointed...they both looked MEH...ordinary and even more so on the M4. The white just makes these cars look like the ordinary run of the mill 4 series and 3 series respectively. I opted to change my order to Austin Yellow after seeing it in the flesh....it really pops and calls your attention. Interestingly, the Yas Marina Blue was WAY more beautiful in the flesh than in pictures....in pictures it comes off as a pale matt baby blue....but in reality it is striking and metallic....It would be my second choice after being dead last as a choice when I first saw the pictures.

Overall, the cars look amazing. Non of the cars I saw had the full leather, which IMO is a must on these cars...the extended leather is ok, but again makes the car seem too similar to the regular 4 series and 3 series.

The wait begins now....car arrives in 4 months I'm told :argh:

Hey guys
I just hope I don't regret my colour choice
Initially I ordered ymb but after reading all the threads coming from the states where the guys were complaining about it being to light I changed to aw with full so interior
My car is built already so it's too late to change

Sorry man, It wasn't my intention to leave you with regrets about your colour choice....these were just my impressions, but everyone has different opinions so I'm sure you will LOVE your car...if you get a chance go check them out...I'm sure many dealers will have the cars on their floors now...

Shew you guys are brave ordering cars before they've even been launched, personally, I will wait for the LCi and enjoy my V8 LCi in the meantime:rollsmile:

Lci will only be in 2016 on the m3
If u see the spyshots for the f30 lci which is coming end of next year the changes are very minimal
In fact most of the changes are engine and front bumber enhancements
That won't even effect the m3
And my guess is by 2016 the price of this car will increase by at least another 20%
Just my thoughts

Someone has to take the plunge....what's the worst that could happen  And besides, I get to drive my V8 LCi for the next few months while being excited for the new one

True but who knows what issues they are going to be experiencing with the first batch of cars, im not saying there will be, nor am I hating on the fact that you guys are getting your cars now, it's just a personal approach to ///M cars for me and again, personally, I have always preferred the LCi versions:thumbs:
