Who has ordered the forthcoming M3 / M4?

Seems that they not selling like hot cakes. Just got an e-mail from a friend at Autobahn BMW. He is looking for someone to take an F80 M3 that will be delivered to the dealership next week, but will only be delivered to the customer after the 15th of July. :roflol:
It is AW III and has some options. Comes to R1 050 000. :dropjaw:

My M4 will unfortunately only arrive Jan 2015....spoke to a few dealers today and a few of them have allocations for M3 available for delivery July this year....the M3 will only make up a small percentage of the car sales as opposed to the M4...some dealers have a waiting list of 2 and 3 years already on the M4 :thumbdo: So with that being said I've been told that Jan 2015 is actually not bad of a wait....but I would still like one earlier...If anyone can help me out with getting a CONFIRMED allocation for the M4 I'll GREATLY appreciate it! raise:raise:raise:

Argggg wrong colour! lol! I'm sure there will be a few dealer launch cars available to buy...but not highly specced though...

The are a number of launch cars, BOTH M3 and M4 arriving now in July, Babyboss is quite correct.
Waiting on more info on the cars.
The white M3 above is definitely one of the M3's still available.

But the dealership said shipment was delayed.
With all the specs here and there. It's just under 1.2 bars for the car.

Said he was supposed to take delivery yesterday. 28/05/14.
But the dealership said shipment was delayed.
With all the specs here and there. It's just under 1.2 bars for the car.

They will only deliver after the launch, which is 15 June 2014.

The all have the following spec:

- M Double Clutch Transmission with Drive logic
- 19” wheels style 437 ( black)
- Black leather
- Head Up display

Base price is R1,007,800.00

Thanks for the update...I am super eager, but not willing to forgo my spec just to get one a few months earlier....going to have to find a hobby to distract myself until January 2015...:argh:

I also had an m3 on order a few months ago.
Initially the dealer told me ill have to wait for about 8 months after the launch (July).
Yesterday they called me and said I can have one of the units in July. Apparently they not exactly flying off the floors. Most of the cars that are sold from the first shipment are bought from other dealers who is gonna put a premium on the car.
He even said he do a discount on the car for me.
All this news is making me think twice about buying from the first lot.
If I wait another 3 months I will get the full discount which will probably be about 100k.
I think a lot of hype has been made about the car but with SA going into recession these cars will sit.

I have the new x5 which I am loving.
I was gonna trade inn for the new m3. (Can't afford both unfortunately.
My wife suggested I keep the x5 and buy a 2010 m3 for around 400-450k as my toy.
What u guys think. If I do that then I can keep the x5.

You not gonna get a 2010 in that price bracket, ull be looking at an 08 or early 09 for that kinda money bud:thumbs:
