Its an ///M car , it will definite perform IMO.

Cousin of mine in DBN named Gidesh is on that list for M4 , car set him back 1.2bar

So he paid already? Really doubt that

Because no one I know knows the exact pricing ... The order book is not open yet ...

Exactly. My deposit was paid and my name on the list for August delivery however the official order book with prices and specifications list isn't open yet. In SA that is.

Problem with waiting for issues is u never gona buy a car !

Then if u want 1 .. PREMIUMS @ dealers with stock or
u place order & wait another year :fencelook:

Regarding problems .... Yes being an early adopter does come with its risks, esp if it is new tech. Recall with my DCT M, I had s/w related issues where the car would sometimes just decide neutral is where it wants to be and would not listen to you without switching the car off and on again .... But it was not anything serious as it only occurred under rare situations and was fixed with a s/w upgrade. Having said that I do hope it is not Ferrari 458 or Porsche 991 GT3 first adopter problems like the car catching on fire

so after hearing Gidesh putting down 1.2bar on his M4 ... i visited my dealer and spoke for an hour to my guy ... to see if i needed to hurt him (the salesguy)

def no pricing on the car ... so i dunno what Gidesh bought, def not an M4

ditto to M3_FTW ... they said july order book should open ... which from experience takes 3 months to get built and delivered (unless that time has come down for imported models, has it? have not bought a new BMW in a while)

after much debate think im going conservative ... white on black, CF roof, DCT, Mdynamic, B&O sound system (hope they offer this), big wheels ... his gut is about 900-950k base ... DCT will be like 50k, m-dynamic R100k ... wheels R20k ... sound R10k ... etc etc (my guestimates) ... so reckon a decently spec one under 1.2M ... to think my 911 Carrera GTS cost that in 2011 ... and that was not quite entry level 911 ...
