So, I got a 2006 320d Touring yesterday, I allready signed the contract at the bank, but according to the F&I guy, I can cancel if Im not happy.

The car is in a fair condition, but my main corncern is thespraywork being done in the past on the right hand side

So Im thinking of canceling the deal on monday, because it doesnt help me to have a car Im not happy with, except if I can neg with the seller on the price, as he hasnt been paid by the bank yet.

So my question is, what will the best, most decent Panelbeater , BMW approved panelbeater/spraypainters quote +- to respray the whole right hand side , from the back corner, doors, front fender, bumper front and bonnet of a E91 Touring, Sapphire Black?
Theres no dents, its just been very badly sprayed, even my wife that knows nothing about cars, saw it when I came driving up the road, and while driving, in town yesterday, Im "ashamed" of cars whole right hand side.

Advise please guys, as I must make a decision today :(

Spray with waterborn paint at R2200 per panel. So that's 2200 x 6 + blending of 2 panels at R1100 per panel . Strip and assemble at R2400. Paint shop material at R400. Minor filing material at R250. Glass removal R750. New clips for door beadings and rubbers. About R200 per set. Waste disposal R150. Polishing R900. Polishing material R300

So looking at R20750 + sundries and any thing not seen. Look at around R23000.
This would be the quote without looking at the car if I were still quoting for Finesse PB. Approved Panel Beaters.

Hj Bosch and sons in Pretoria has all approvals other than merc and bmw and they charged R3500 per panel for their half arsed job for private job.

I would walk away.
