so after 6 visits back and forth to BMW
they changed the power steering pump
they changed the alternator pulley and guide
and still the same sound.
so now it could be a timing chain which is too tight because when you you drive it at hi revs it picks up the slack to help acceleration and response:blab: , but the doubt bmw sa will give authrisation to open the motor to correct this and it will probably happen again anyway.
the the made me drive a 325 coupe with the same engine and said ,"see its normal this one makes that noise too ".
so my advice to anyone looking for a 325i, buy a prefacelift not and lci , its a complete fuckup of a car , feels low on power , the exhaust is too quiet and the engine whines!:argh:
anybody want to buy it ?

It could be the ruber seals on your aircon. Had a similar problem. The first time I was told that they had to replace the pulleys due to misalignment. Had to take car back three times and had to leave it at the workshop before they found the problemyunuso said:Slamz said:hey yunus
