So I managed to get my hands on a fairly clean E36 328iA Convertible.

Now I need some help on deciding which wheels look best on the car.

Firstly, my view has always been that the E36 M3 wheel only looked good on the M3 and that the M Contours were absolutely the sexiest wheels on an E36! Now having bought this car I am truly undecided.

Apologies for the poor quality pics. There is a hardtop in white with the car as well ... in case that makes a difference to the decision.

As I bought it with full M3 kit and wheels:

With my M Contours:

And finally with the 18" Style 193s which I am selling:

Which do you think suits this car best?

:clapper: Wow!!!

Thats a sweet buy. Congrats!!! I actually checked this one out and was very impressed by the condition (was standing in Kuilsriver at the time).

My Vote...E36 M3 Wheels.

Enjoy the vert buddy :coolShake:

M Contours. Everybody knows that they are seriously cool. :coolShake:

18" wheels on an E36? Definitely not. They come from an era that was still in the future when the car was new. This is not the DeLorean from Back To The Future. :thumbdo:

M3 wheels on a cabrio? Meh.

I've always been a fan of the contours on the E36 but for some reason the M3 wheel looks really cool on this one. I'm not sure if it has something to do with the color or just the way the pic was taken.

Congrats on an awesome car!

Agree with Samman. There's no better wheel for an E36 Motorsport than the ///M3 wheel.
The contour is a close 2nd.
Style 193 does not suit E36 and E46. It belongs on an E90 only.

Just my 3c

The 2 sexiest E36's that I have seen on this forum are Eltons Avus Blue M3 coupe with the 18 E36 M3 replica rims and Fiekies Avus Blue M3 coupe with the throwing stars. Not sure how either of these rims would look on a white E36 vert but would be interesting to see if they would suit the car

Agreed Gizmo... But still common is still classy. Being common did not stop almost every BMW F30 driver gowing for Estoril Blue, or every Golf lover buying a Mk 5,6,7 GTI.............
