in my opinion id go for the 335i, but id plead with the guy to go under 400k.

And just a lil bit of info on the 335i.

Firstly its not front wheel drive
Secondly its not a 3.5litre

M3 all the way, its just an awesome car, drive, look and feel - most importantly its a M!!!!!!!!!!

You would do well to extend the MP but well worth it!

335i 4 door looks so plain... No offence to other guys who have the sedan, its a remarkable machine, but if I am spending that much money for a sports car, it better look like a sports car.

Is there any reason why you are not looking at the coupe variants of these two cars???

test drive both and then if you still undecided, this might help:

if you live up at altitude, then the 335i (nothing like spending big bucks on an m3 and being wasted by almost every modded x35i on the road)

if you at the coast, the m3.

if you plan on modding your car, 335i.

if you like track days m3.

good luck

Yes, I have a 2 door Pajero and M3 E36. One more 2 door and my wife said that I must live in it myself as I have 2 kids:blab: 4 door or nothing.

M3 just feels more special ... but you could do a lot with the R100k+ price difference to make a 335i a bit "less regular".

I'd take the M though :fencelook:

No matter how fast you make a 335, it will still never be an M3.

Its not all about faster man.

The driving dynamic on an M3 is far superior to any other 3 series. The suspension setup, diff and high reving motor is :inlove:
