Forgot to add that I have 17's runflats which generally give a terrible ride, Ride on my 18's were ok but not great like the exclusive

Suppose it all depends what the car is intended for

I'm a bit late but feel I need to respond to this. I bought my 2006 BMW 320d sports-pack about 2yrs back after getting feedback from others on this forum and these are my findings...the car is simply awesome.

I drove it during my December 2013 holiday from Cape Town to Windhoek (Namibia), via Springbok, then from Windhoek to Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe) via Botswana and Zambia then back again via the Mahikeng border, back to Cape Town via Kimberley. Total was about 6000 km's during that time and the car didn't give me one hassle, sheer driving pleasure. Average speed was between 100-150km/h (average of 120km/h) driving for about 6-8hrs at times to my destinations. I got about 950km before the reserve light comes on at about 50-54 liters.

I also use my car to travel between home and work (64km's return trip per day) and the only parts I replaced during my 50 000km's that I had the car for was the runflats. It cost me R3200 per tyre and I had to replace it after my trip other than that nothing else. I also take it for the due services at BMW Century City every 15000km but the computer states that I can take the car for a service every 17000km because of my driving style.

Hope this helps.
