Im going to be looking at selling my wifes Mini Cooper S soon. Its a 2005, R53. Its in decent condition, has a few dings and scratches and needs some TLC on the front suspension (Control Arms/Bushes and top Shock Mounts). I just want to get out of the finance. Will be happy getting R65 000 at min for it.

If interested, send me a PM with your contact number.

Pics can be found in my signature link.

hi Arbee, what is the mileage on your mini? FSH?

194 xxxkm. Yeah, it has FSH. Most with Agents.

She's a 20 year old woman hehe of course she would want a Mini. But I also think the E46 is the way to go and for the price that one is going for I'm actually shocked because I normally see them go for R70 000 and up and then the 2005 F/L 325ci's for like R110 000.

What report did he read? My sister in law has an I10 , its a bit concerning .. I did a search and they said that the ones made in india scores 0 stars, but then I also read that it scored 4 stars?

Very confusing .

I'll try and find a link to the report. It may have been the non-airbag option i10 1.1 and not the 1.2 with airbags.
I can back this up as my grandmother passed away in an accident due to the fact that there was only one airbag in the car for the driver. We did not know this when buying the car and it couldn't have changed the outcome drastically.

:blueCry: Sorry to hear that. Even with airbags, the car is so light that a collision is going to involve a huge change in momentum, but I digress, I don't want to pretend that I understand each and every aspect of the physics that is involved in an accident but I will express that I have no confidence in the i10 surviving a substantial accident as I have heard of more than a couple accidents where the poor occupants have not survived the accident.

Anyway, we've bought an E90 320D. My mom is driving that now and my sister has taken the R56 Mini Cooper. I'll do a write-up on the 320D relatively soon, but right now we are quite pleased with our purchase.
