Where to service BMW in Pretoria?

Anybody know of a great place that does services/repairs in Pretoria, East if possible.

I have a 1998 BMW z3 that is acting up again. :(

I don't just want to take my car to the place around the corner and I really don't want to take it back to BMW.

2 trips to BMW later both averaging R5000 is enough now.

On my way home from Joburg yesterday my car suddenly lost alot of its power.

It was rather funny, I ended up drving like 50kms an hour up the highway at New Road. I'm sure people thought I was a complete **s.

Strange at low revs it behaves fine, but the moment you go over aprox. 2500 revs it sounds rather harsh, like an old Opel Cub with a freeflow exhaust, without any power. The car max. out at just over 100km/h.

I think the petrol pump is involved here, heard a squeeling sound from the back, but the car needs a service soon anyways.

So if not servicing your own car, where do you guys take yours?

Thanks

the Flupig.

Hi flupig,

Any luck ? Please keep me posted!

I need someone that can work on my M3 without costing me an arm and a leg everytime, but also know what they are doing.

Not as easy to find as u might think in a town as big as Pta.

I would also like to know, as I recently moved to Centurion (work) and TuneTech is now a bit too far to be convenient for any work on my Cooper S ...

phone boetie budler from budler motorsport! otherwise Dastek!
but your M3 take it to Chiplogic, RGM, SAV or Boetie budler! no other machanic will touch the inside of my M3! they are to expensive to play around with someone that think he knows! import 328I engine R6500, import M3 engine R52000.. spend that extra R2500 or what ever and save Thousands at the end of the day! M3 VERY expensive car to maintain! don't try and go the cheap way!

So I noticed my car was burning white. Took it to the local exhaust place and it turns out my car had a blocked catalytic converter.

Cut it out and  car is back to normal.

Yay!
