Where to get Motorplan History from?

Hi Guys,

A mate of mine is looking at a 2008 120d at the moment at a dealer. He has teh VIN and Reg, and tried to phone BMW SA Call Center to get the motorplan history but they refused to give it to him because he is not the owner. Any suggestions?

The only thing I thought of was to insist that the dealer get it for him ? Should he maybe phone a dealer?

hi,

usually you can phone a BMW dealership and they will give you the details.
or if you know anyone that works at BMW, that would make it easier.

Worst case is he must demand the dealer get him the service history from BMW....

Phone BMW SA Customer Service, as long as you have the VIN and tell them who the current/previous owner is, they will give you the full service history and any accident comments on the system for the car.

Go to the nearest dealer service department , for security sakes some do not want to give out details over the phone .

As long you have the key in your hand and car with you, they usually give it to you.
