well i started at bmw, and got a handy price of 3999 for one front wheel bearing for a e39,
after i did this:biglol: i went onto the net and got hold of turnermotorsports ,they had singles for 170 dollars so about 2k as the market sits now with shipping so not bad,

i then went to bmg but they have no stock and the demand was not high but they pointed me to part quip who stock timkin bearings at 850 incl vat, so i bought two haha with 6 month warranty after fitment

Sometimes, the wheel bearing has some internals that work with the wheel speed sensors, without which you will have ABS and traction control problems.

Just make sure that the replacement bearing has everything needed to work with the speed sensors otherwise you might be forced to use OEM.

the e39 range uses the sensors in the hubs not the bearings

the front was a bit of a mission coz i too the whole hub off before loosening the bearing:bangdesk: but the other side was done in about an hour or so with me still putting copper slip on my brakes and finding a new a leak
