What would be your dream daily driver?

If you had to choose a single BMW to be your daily driver (i.e. it has to be practical enough for your daily chores), ignoring cost, what would it be?

I'd choose a 2003 E39 M5. This to me is the most beautiful BMW ever produced. It's understated enough, but very quick. And the sound of the V8 is awesome.

So what's yours?

I would say Z4M Coupe In alpine white, No worries about carting the family to work so the 2 seater is just perfect for that commute

haha, I have driven Matts car on a sunday for a total of about 70kms, and trust me when I say you do NOT want that thing as a daily, you would have to get to work and take a nap

It seriously takes a hell of a lot of concentration, just too much gas and those 285/30/19's start walking sideways, and when you give it a bit of go, you had better be careful of whats in front of you because it covers ground very quickly.

It's either the E30 M3...

or the E46 M3 in black.

After driving my dream - E46 M3 - I think that it is the ultimate daily driver.

It suited me perfectly even with my 2 kids in car seats and a trunk full of groceries. Weekends, the groceries are out and only the son's car seat remained and we would go for joyrides of our own!!

Even a Stock M3 is sufficient for most and just the flicking of 2 buttons and you can have as much fun as you want - come rain or shine, road or track. Truly enjoyable and very versatile.

My ideal one would be Alpine White with red interior and CSL wheels - nothing else is needed!!

I would however settle for the M5 if anyone wanted to donate one - any takers?
